Marauder Robotics is currently developing (and about to test) an underwater robot that will hunt for sea urchins in hopes to curtail their predation and destruction of kelp beds in different parts of the world. I learned about food web dynamics in University where the professors used sea otter-urchin-kelp bed dynamics as an example. Don't worry, I give you a short explanation in this episode. Do you think we should be using underwater robots to balance ecological issues that we probably caused in the first place?
