I am a little nervous today to publish this episode as it is the first time that I am part of a podcast where it is highly produced. I am a producer on a great podcast called the Salish Shes Podcast hosted by Raye Evrard and Beth Pike. We launched a series recently that explores how the Orcas of the Salish Seas became Endangered over a short time period (60 years). In this episode, Raye and Beth speak to Lynda Mapes (reporter from the Seattle Times) and Ellie Kinley (Lummi fisher and community member) to discover how the views of the people on the Orcas in the Salish Sea changed over the course of 60 years.
