July 26th was the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, so it makes sense that Mangroves are the topic for today's episode. In the year 2000, the longest-lived cyclone destroyed over 400 hectares of mangroves that were crucial to the livelihoods of the people of Xai-Xai, Mozambique.
