The fight against Climate Change can be a difficult battle, at least when you look at it from the Canadian Government's perspective. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been trying to get a pipeline approved that will run from the tar sands in Alberta to the coastline in British Columbia. However, the Canadian courts have a different viewpoint. The court ruled that the approval process for the pipeline expansion was flawed in that in did not consider increased shipping traffic in the environmental assessment and the government did not consult properly with Indigenous people. It's a complicated story, so I explain it in this episode. Enjoy the Podcast!!! Let me know what side you fall on in the Facebook Group.
