I recently took the family on vacation to Darien Lake. We had a great time staying on the grounds and enjoying the Theme Park; however, there were certain parts of the park where I would like to see improvement when it comes to sustainability. I go through the good and the bad things at the park that could impact the Ocean. What is your experience of sustainability at Theme Parks? Today is a very special episode because I finally opened up Ocean Talk Friday to people in the Facebook Group. It was the first time I did this and I am very happy to say that it worked out very well for the first time. Today we discuss some topics that I covered earlier in the week and that was how the US Marine Mammal Protection Act are requiring Countries who export fisheries to the US to conduct cetacean studies to prove that their fisheries are not harming cetaceans. The second topic is all about recycling. A recent article covered how people in Canada are not recycling properly and most of the items tagged for recycling are not recycled. Enjoy the Podcast!!! I would love to hear your opinion on this episode. Join the Facebook Group to chime in. Do you know we launched more Ocean Related Podcasts?
