Canada has finally implemented its Carbon tax for the remaining provinces who hadn't yet implemented the Federally mandated program. The Provinces had a chance to implement their own carbon tax; however, Conservative leadership in the provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, New Brunswick, and Saskatchewan refused to abide by the plan. Therefore, the Federal government instituted its own Carbon Tax for the provinces. 

There are many people in Canada who hate paying taxes and have many reasons for opposing the tax. All in all, people don't think it's going to work and/or they don't trust the governments to manage the money.

I go through the top 10 myths of the Carbon Tax for Canadians and provide the true facts proving each myth wrong.

The Dungeness Crab Industry has funded Scientists to board Coast Guard helicopters during regular surveillance duties to monitor areas where there are crab pots to prevent whale entanglement. 

We continue with the show as I describe the carbon tax in Canada and how the Federal Government will use the tax. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau rolled out how the Carbon Tax will work for various provinces. Everyone will pay a tax based on their household carbon emissions (in tons of carbon produced) and will get money back with their tax returns.

Today is a special episode, not necessarily because of the topic (Carbon Tax), but because I recorded the episode live in the Facebook Group. I did it for two reasons: 1) I want to have the podcast to include the members of the Facebook group; and, 2) I wanted to switch things up on the podcast partly because this episode is number 450. 

Today's topic is all about the Carbon Tax. It's not a popular tax, as popular as any tax; however, it is a tax that Canada and other countries/states are talking about implementing in their policies. some people say the Carbon Tax will not work because governments will not be transparent with the money raised by the Tax. Others feel that we all need to do something about Climate Change and people are incentivized by money.
